I'm working as researcher in Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia sezione di Milano. My interest is Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Assessment (PSHA). In this topic I'm working in calibration and validation of algorithms, using intensity attenuation models, to calculate physical parameters of historical earthquakes for building homogeneous earthquake catalogs to be applied in PSHA.
I have coordinated calibration and validation of algorithms to estimate parameters of historical earthquakes in Italian,EU and global projects,
In 2001, I moved to Milan for working in the "INGV". In 2006 I finished my PhD in the Milan University. I'm also interested in Open Innovation and Knowledge Transfer (MIT Master, Business School of "Politecnico di Milano" 2012-13) with focus in Foresight.
